Return to the light?
Never this month, did I see more light
Than today
Solstice day
After a comfortable longest night,
The morning starts with a cold bite
How can I fight
The call of a warm blanket that doesn’t bite

When it’s dark —
Which is usually the case in this season,
Only the heart can truly catch up on
Eternity’s spark
🌕💙
Als het donker is
En in dit seizoen gebeurt dat gewis
Heeft slechts het hart de ingangen
Die de eeuwige sprankel opvangen
Full daylight makes no appearance
‘Non-essential’ shops are shut
Yet, the crowds strut
Some of my final crops lost brilliance
Jupiter & Saturn in conjunction
But, behind clouds — I saw nothing
No cold, some wind, it was raining
Some Christmas phone conversation
January Sun once felt poor
Now, it warms like early October
Even the bright heavenly blue color
Belongs to September
Enjoyable the meal
Favorite movie
Comfort we may feel
When only artificial light we see

Merry Christmas ⭐✨
Two weeks around 21 December
Always dark, as long as I remember
Yet, so satisfied about many things
Busy improving what still clings

Sons, siblings: They are, will be here
For the holiday cheer
So much happens this year
The clock I often fear
@D
No full daylight
Candles, Christmas decoration
Soon, it’s June, with its bright light
How many are left ~ is an observation
@D
Blackbirds sang
Gentle temperature
Already I heard the bang
Of fireworks, to give 2015 a closure
@D
As ever at the shortest day
Rains fall from a low, gray sky
The water finds its way
As does candle light into the sky
@D
Apocalypse day rainy day
I was on my boat anyway
No other place where I’d want to be
Now look who’s here: you, me
@D
Apocalyps dag, regendag
Ik was evengoed op mijn boot, deze dag
Geen andere plaats waar ik had willen zijn
Zowaar, jij en ik mogen er nog zijn
@D
Low sun under a watery sky
The elements are razing by
Pleasant small lights make us forget
The early sunset
