A moment to look back again
But, it is a backwards, past observation
Memorial Preparations
Egos & high demands
Led to a split in the team
There may be no hands
In next year’s war memorial team
Life Resumes
After two years, huge festivals returned
War memorial has also returned
Their combination
Is good for an impressive commemoration
Amazing Coincidence
Ramadan, Easter,
Eid ul Fitr, War Memorial
Their coincidence I administer

Courage wasn’t low
Yet it couldn’t set free

Corona is always present
The memorial took place anyway
A rainbow appeared to us present

A small group of people only
On their way to the monument
The King spoke in honesty
It was a heartwrenching moment

A day of sharp remembrance
As his children, we were all present
Farewell in our presence
Was also a moment for contentment

Modest, impressive ceremony
My own pumped nerves
Brought concentration, probably,
To deliver what remembrance deserves

His Life
My father has been through a lot
And has achieved a lot
A life of strength, work
But also travel & fun without smirk

Survivors
Unyielding they are present
The few survivors who lived to see
Peace & contentment
Now, that we’re relatively free
