Bare branches will come to life
Under perfection of color gradients
Many of us begin daily strife
For the goods & nutrients
Bare branches will come to life
Under perfection of color gradients
Many of us begin daily strife
For the goods & nutrients
To me, one of the Winter months
Deep cold with longer day lengths
Tomorrow, the birds start nesting,
So they say, in traditional saying
Not seen in thirty years:
Snow dunes 🤍❄
We all had much fun & some fears
And hope for more fun afternoons
Many first time discoveries
Our Winter soups & veggies
The howling winds & darkness
Spring starts in their town of lightness
A familiar Winter apparition
Has returned: The snowdrop
Normally, a month sooner would it pop
At least, that’s my recollection
Coffee freshly made
Woodpecker’s hammer nearby
Darkness, now, did fade
Against knowledge, I always ask why
Home lights have been lit
A vague scent of thyme on the air
Cars came home everywhere
The day lingers a bit
Nice to have such extra day
To some of us, finally their birthday
@D💝🎂🎉
Having a coffee,
While outside, it’s storming heavily
Darkness sets in
This weird Winter, we must keep up our chin
@D
There’s no moon
Rains, winds, chase around the house
I’m not immune
To how this reduces us all to the next mouse
@D
I should be grateful
Winds were plentiful
Yet, my house is strong enough
Also when the storm gets rough
@D
It is starting now
May those effected stay safe
Worse is expected
@D
Every year again,
It rejoices me & others
February Sun did gain
The force to make sheep mothers
@D
Even the coldest gloomiest of days
May be rewarding
Light is lenghtening
Birds find their ways
@D
