This year’s last full Moon
My family expands merrily
So, cheerful holidays did we see
In a strange year, ended so soon
This year’s last full Moon
My family expands merrily
So, cheerful holidays did we see
In a strange year, ended so soon
Jupiter & Saturn in conjunction
But, behind clouds — I saw nothing
No cold, some wind, it was raining
Some Christmas phone conversation
Before January, a list of stuff
I scrapped, or did, the fluff
& Have left some items
Don’t most of us have left over gems
St Nicolas today
A modest Christmas on its way
Reminiscence; finance closure
Looking to a new year with more allure
Fine network of tree branches
Appears at a black sky
A smell of plastic — I wonder why
The lunar face will shrink by tranches
A sunny December day
Used to be a real Winter’s day
Now, it shines brightly as September
The Sun is fiercer than that I remember
@D
Two weeks around 21 December
Always dark, as long as I remember
Yet, so satisfied about many things
Busy improving what still clings
@D
No full daylight
Candles, Christmas decoration
Soon, it’s June, with its bright light
How many are left ~ is an observation
@D
I hear it chase itself
Around the window
Articial sources now light myself
And any other possible info
@D
The dark days started a month ago
Yet, each afternoon, outdoors is the place to go
@D
To many people,
Spent in transition
And with their nearest people
Days where bookkeepers reposition
@D
Good for paper work
Home comfort is best
Christmas still under the cork
December may give much to digest
@D
Almost every year
December brings
Days of Spring here
Pleasantry that clings
@D
