How to prepare for an earthquake
In California, we worry about earthquakes and wildfires with the occasional flash flood or landslide.
In Michigan where I grew up, it was tornadoes and blizzards. Just recently there was a really big flood where I lived as a kid that nobody expected. Two dams collapsed and many thousands of people displaced.
I don’t think there is anywhere that doesn’t suffer natural disasters. And then there is always civil unrest and war.
Luckily in the UK, that is not something we have to be overly concerned with.
Some of us, readers here, need to consider.
