Unlike your poetry, the land of the pharaohs is tied up in knots…and nots.
Egypt is a relatively simple country with not too many knots, Mike… no ethnic minorities, some 10–15% Christians, and a few Shiites and Jews. Under Hosni Mubarak the country functioned fairly well, but there wasn’t enough democracy. After a revolution most of us remember from the news, the Muslim Brotherhood were elected, but they were in every respect a disappointment. Truth is, that people are fed up with the MB. Radicalism is for a small group, and causes much dismay.
A widely political satire into what’s happening in Egypt.
You have such courage and a gifted talent.
Thanks, Charlie, I hope it’s to someone’s benefit 😉
