When I see people around me
Sailing well across the world’s seas
It effects me
Like a crisp Summer breeze
@D
It needs repair
That makes me tired
Another way through the air
Should keep me wired
@D
I had to slow down
Three years ago
I rode fast in this town
Then it came back with a blow
@D
Sometimes it seems
I lost you
I hope it’s just light beams
That my eyes couldn’t see through
@D
Best weather ever
Ship’s motor broke
Vain endeavor
Other exercise is clever
@D
I cleaned my carburettor
Yet he was kind & needed enough
To rebuild my motor’s choke, for
It consists of little stuff
@D
‘The mind has a good impression of itself. It has created this impression. And since this ‘self’ is created by mind, it can be believed to be eternal and untouchable.’
Much truth is in these words. @D
Feeling more at ease around you
More familiarity does the trick
Make time a friend
Is what I would recommend
@D
Days without hurry
Days of quiet
Somewhere without worry
Disabling thoughts to disquiet
@D
He didn’t call me a luxury horse
Just “You clean your carburetor”
I hope it will endorse
My very first effort touching a motor
@D
Short & sturdy he goes to mosque
He’s retired, salutes everybody
Miss prayer he doesn’t risk
Consistency has a body
@D
A beautiful road
It’s never too hot this year
Under linden scent
